what the heck is getting done?
Toggle into the different room tabs to see which rooms are currently in progress, next on the list or simply have an aspiration to improve.
Current work is in the office and up next is exterior yankee gutters.

Completed work: Removed drop ceiling, repaired plaster, installed drywall, primed/painted walls and trim, designing secret door.
Finishing touches: installing wallpaper, flooring, crown molding, and window treatments. And then of course technology setup.
Mood board inspiration:
After months of failed furniture acquisition attempts via Facebook Marketplace, auction sites and local antique or thrifting sources, this room was on hold. Recently a furniture set was procured which helps dictate the rest of the decisions.
Already in possession of 3 sets of beautiful drapes for this room, alas it is extremely expensive to purchase new hardware for hanging them. Curtain rods, finials, valence hardware and drawbacks were adding up so another plan of attack is necessary to finish.
In addition, this is the oldest and most prominent part of the house so to say it’s intimidating to drill into historic plaster is no understatement.
Currently: obtained sitting room set, rug, the instruments furnishing the music room and drapes
Still need: cabinet to store violins and keep out moisture, a cabinet to store sheet music and records and also displays the record player.
